Classroom management is fundamental to ensuring success for all students. In addition to providing quality instruction, the teacher is responsible for the supervision and effective operation of the entire class. Without solid procedures, rules, and expectations in place, the classroom will likely become a disorderly environment that is unsuitable for learning. In a poorly managed classroom the teacher struggles to provide exceptional instruction as he or she is constantly managing disruptions and unforeseen issues that might arise. A properly managed classroom, however, is a place where teachers and students flourish in an orderly atmosphere which facilitates learning.
